The Music Ministry program plays a vital role in congregational worship and involves people of all ages and musical abilities. Dr. Al Roberts serves as Director of Music and Organist, and Otto Hage is Choral Director.

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in liturgy and hymns and offers special music in Sunday worship services and during Advent and Lenten season concerts.

Practice is held each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room. Membership is open to anyone who is able to commit to regular weekly rehearsals.

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS

Jubilate Bell Choir
Jubilate Bell Choir includes ringers with or without prior music experience and a willingness to commit to weekly rehearsals. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the Choir Room. Five octaves of bells are available to play.

Children's Choir
Depending on the ages and numbers of children, we may have two children’s choirs. The Cherub Choir is for ages 2 through 6 and focuses on the enjoyment of music-making while learning musical skills. The Good News Choir is for 1st through 6th graders; they not only sing but learn to play and perform using a variety of musical instruments. Children’s choir meets Sundays from 9:00-9:25 am.

St. David Brass
St. David Brass accompanies the Chancel Choir and plays hymns and instrumental voluntaries. There are opportunities for solo instrumentalists to share their gifts of talent.

Young at Heart Tone Chimes
This group performs hymns and old favorites at area nursing homes.

Lutheran Men’s Chorus
The Lutheran Men’s Chorus gathers to sing for Lutheran Men’s Sunday.

Lutheran Women’s Chorus
The Lutheran Women’s Chorus gathers to sing for Lutheran Women’s Sunday.

Christmas Programs
The Chancel and Jubilate Choirs joined by the St. David Brass present a Christmas Cantata normally on a Sunday evening in mid-December.

In lieu of Sunday School in mid-December, the children and youth present a short Christmas program about the birth of Christ Jesus.
