YOUTH AT SAINT DAVID

Youth programs combining learning, fellowship, and service activities are offered for 3rd grade - 12th grade.

MIssion Statement:

Our mission as a youth group is to constantly seek to create and promote an environment of love, understanding, faith formation, selfless service, and a safe community by, for, and with our youth.

Let Your Light Shine (L.Y.L.S)

Ages: 3rd Grade - 5th Grade

Details: Our L.Y.L.S. have monthly events that;  build community, encourage service oriented thinking, and give a safe place for our youth to strengthen their faith together as the body of Christ.

Our L.Y.L.S. also participate in an area group called E.L.F. (Elementary Lutheran Friends). This group is composed of kids their own age from local Saxe-Gotha and Midlands Conference churches that allow our youth to learn what it means to share God's light with others in their community, build relationships for SCLCY events when they are older, and build their confidence as young people of faith.
